The Manila Bay is considered to be one of the best natural harbors in Southeast Asia and one of the finest in the world. This is the site of the Battle of Manila Bay in 1898 when Spanish and American forces clash for the right to colonize the Philippines.

This is a very famous and unusual tourist attraction located in the province of Bohol, Philippines.

The Chocolate Hills comprise of 1,776 hills spread over 20 square miles. The hills are covered in green grass that turn brown during the dry season making them look like a bunch of Hershey’s Chocolate Kisses.

The Chocolate Hills are conical karst hills and none of them have caves.

Intramuros – The Walled City

Intramuros is the oldest district in the city of Manila, Philippines.

In Latin, Intramuros means “within the walls”. The place was so named because of the wall enclosure in the city and was a fortress during the Spanish colonization. Within Intramuros are famous Philippine churches, Manila Cathedral and San Agustin Church.

Burnham Park in Baguio City – the City of Pines

Burnham Park is in Baguio City, the summer capital of the Philippines. The park is named after American Architect, Daniel Hudson Burnham.

The park has a man-made lake where tourist can enjoy boating using rental boats. There is also a skating rink, a grand stand and football field, gardens, and a children’s park. Bike rentals abound in the area.

Boracay is an island in the Philippines located 200 miles south of Manila. This was voted in 2007 as the World’s Most Popular Beach in Yahoo! Travel.

The main tourism spots there are the White Beach and Bulabog Beach where guests do windsurfing and kiteboarding.

The Banaue Rice Terraces are located in Kalinga Apayao, Benguet in the Mountain Province of the Philippines. These were built largely by hand more than 2,000 years ago.

It is sometimes referred to a the 8th Wonder of the World because of the height and expance of the rice terraces. It covers about 4,000 square miles and are at 5,000 ft. above sea level
